Carol Schmitt’s pincushion ring
They wouldn’t stop sewing. More! More sewing!
Fifteen guests flew in or drove in from all over the country to camp out on the farm from morning to night, under the tutelage of Sonya Philip, Ellen Mason & Stacie Dolin, to create a wardrobe in a weekend.
And they did.
And we had an easy, hilarious, fulfilling time altogether with lamb-cuddling, pasture walks, birdsong, good food, unrushed hours of stitching and relaxing.
There was that heat wave, uncharacteristic for Memorial Day Weekend in Vermont.
But feathers were not ruffled.
Oh gosh, so much fun. And pie. Everyone loves pie.

Yes, we’ll do it again. And, we’ll let you know when. Right now, we’re all just still savoring this treasured time together. New friends and old friends, projects completed, new projects ahead. And, everyone got to snuggle a lamb.
