Hello! It is a hasty post because there are animals that need HAY PLEASE MORE HAY PLEASE and FRESH WATER TOO!
But it’s also dinner time for people around here and hence, the haste!
Let me include a photo of our growing Moses, the sweetest little (3 month old) brother to Joan, our 11 month old Maremma pup, to see if that helps you forgive me for the brevity of this post:
And now, for the brief blog announcement-
If you are so inclined, there will be some fun on-the-road and here-on-the-farm workshops and fiber festivals to look forward to in the near and sort-of-near future. If you go to our page called “Workshops”, you will see that they are laid out in a row for the events that are forthcoming.
But also, so that you are apprised, I shall lay it out here as well:
February 11, 2018 – Boston Public Market – see me and Mary & Bluma, our Cormo ewe lambs, at New England Farm to Fiber where I’ll be teaching a Natural Dye Workshop in addition to selling our pretty yarns and more at their Boston Farm & Fiber Festival. Contact New England Farm to Fiber to register for the class(I think there are a few openings) and learn more about this great festival.
April 14 & 15, 2018 – I’ll be teaching about Natural Dyeing and Plotting and Planning a Natural Dye Garden + Microfarming at Brooklyn General Store in Brooklyn, NY – chickabiddies and bunnies, anyone? More details to come!
April 20, 2018 – A day on the farm with the Hudson Valley Knitters Retreat teaching Natural Dyeing – check out Gail & Mary Jeanne’s retreat to find out if there is still space to join in the knitting adventures which include a special day with me here.
May 25 & September 27, 2018 – I’m hosting the guests of Vermont Craft Tours for more Natural Dyeing Workshops – you’ll love what Sarah & Rick have planned for this year’s wonderful Vermont Craft Tours – they run the gamut of ways to indulge in our beautiful Green Mountain State.
May 30 – June 3, 2018 – New England Fiber Art Summit – a WOW-event here sponsored by Taproot Magazine with workshops from Design-pros and industry leaders amongst the sweetest flocks you ever did meet. Char & Donna are our farm-to-table team serving amazing meals, Dianne & Ellen are Tammy’s right arms to meet all of your whims and needs to help you have the most fun, the most delightful time, the best instruction with excellent tutelage from our wonderful teachers – Bristol Ivy, Thea Colman, Susan Anderson, Cal Patch & Katrina Rodabaugh.
