Knit School : Knitting 101 : Drop Stitch Cowl

Learn to knit and create your own beautiful Drop Stitch Cowl using locally sourced wool. This class will cover the basics of beginner knitting, casting on, knit, purl and binding off. We’ll hone those skills while you make your very own cowl.

Cowls are the perfect accessory for Fall, Winter and Spring adding just the right amount of warmth and interest to any outfit. They’re a one size fits and flatters all accessory and make the perfect gift. Once you make one you might not be able to stop knitting them!

The class will take place on Wing and a Prayer Farm, home to the sweetest farm family and the source of our wool! Alpaca, sheep and goats.

Class price includes instruction and all materials required to complete your own cowl, yarn, a circular knitting needle, yarn needle and project bag.

This class is suitable for beginners but also perfect for the knitter who’d like to learn to knit in the round.

Come and make some memories and the loveliest hand knit garment!
