Open Farm June 2, 2018 + Maker Market sponsored by Taproot Magazine

Save the date – there’s another Open Farm on the calendar for June 2, 2018 from 10 – 1:00 here at Wing & A Prayer Farm in Shaftsbury, Vermont.

There’ll be a chance to see the 2018 babies – maybe even some cria? (the term for baby alpacas) – definitely lambs from first time mamas and mamas-of-yore.

You’ll be able to stroll our farm at your pace and visit the different fiber animals, learn something or two from our farmer and farm helpers, and shop our local Farmers’ Market for the freshest and highest quality produce, meat, honey, maple syrup and dairy products.

And this spring, something else that is new and special!  A Taproot Magazine sponsored Maker Market!

Our beautiful animal barn will get shined up to host a collection of local artists and crafters for a beautiful array of New England hand crafted items, from illustrations and prints to hand-woven tapestries, pottery and woodenware, quilts and, of course, yarns from our farm.  So many lovely makers, gathered together for a few hours to offer a special shopping opportunity to all of you that travel from near and far to visit our bit of the country.

More details to come!
