Farm & Home Series: Pie Baking & Cold-Processed Soap

Join us for our Farm & Home Series Workshops in which we share homesteading arts out of our farm kitchen. On Saturday, November 2, we’ll start at 10 a.m. with scratch pie-baking using traditional recipes and local ingredients. You’ll go home with a freshly baked pie and the itch to make more. Class ends at 1 p.m.. Cost of Pie Workshop is $95, materials included.

On Sunday, November 3, we’ll start at 10 a.m. to make cold-processed soap together in the farm kitchen and, weather provided, on the porch. By using farm-raised flowers and herbs and farm-harvested tallows, we’ll create an all natural loaf of soap which you’ll be able to take home and cut after it has cured. Once you’ve used a farm-made bar of soap, you’ll never want to go back. They are super emollient and natural and mild, yet bubbly and cleansing as necessary. Cost of Soap Workshop is $95, materials included.
