Joining us from Candler, NC, Fiber Dreams Santas’ own Debbie Trantham will teach a Primitive Sheep felting class with natural dyed locks.

Debbie has been raising long wool and various heritage breed sheep and livestock for over 25 years on her farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She has been creating her award-winning felted wool sculptures with her hand harvested and dyed locks along the eastern seaboard and will be joining us to teach this traditional art.

We’ll work together on July 13 from 10 - 1 pm to learn the ancient technique of felting wool to create a sculpted sheep, embellishing it with beautiful garden flowers in natural dyed wool locks from the flocks.

There’ll be time for questions and answers and how to transfer these skills to other projects. You’ll go home with a beautiful creation for display or gifting and the skills to create more wool felted ornaments and sculptures.
