A Special Collaboration with Gather, A Fiber Arts Studio in the Berkshires
Just in time for Sweater Weather, we are thrilled to collaborate with Gather, A Fiber Arts Studio in the Berkshires, to watch The Sheep Detectives on the big screen in the barnyard on September 11 at 7pm.
Have you read ‘Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Story’ published in 2005 by Leonie Swann? We were thrilled when it was made into a film, The Sheep Detectives, released this year. We couldn’t be sure if the screen-adaptation would be appropriate for the lambs, but after previewing it, it’s suited for the whole flock!
The book is written on the sweet premise of the shepherd reading his flock bedtime stories, which, if you know Wing & A Prayer Farm, is not an uncommon thing. We couldn’t exclude the flock from this movie-treat, and you know they love snacks!
Arrive early at 6pm to browse our shop and enjoy a rainbow preview of Ashley Weeks Cart’s ‘Winter Lamb’ Sweater, designed especially in honor of one of The Sheep Detectives characters. Make sure to take some time to visit the sheep and the rest of the flock, too.
We’ll have fresh popcorn and mulled cider for snacking. Bundle up and bring your own outdoor chairs/comfy blankets and a knitting project to work on.
Movie airs at 7pm on Friday, September 11. You just need to bring your own comfy outdoor chairs/blankets/sweaters and your knitting project.
RSVP to Wing & A Prayer Farm, hello@wingandaprayerfarm.com for parking/planning purposes.
