Our darkest alpaca fiber plus our darkest wool(our Teeswater fleeces + some of the Cheviot we got from our shearer’s flock in spring of 2025) is called ‘Provincial’, named for it’s hyper-local constitution. It is combined into the silkiest, most lustrous steel blue-grey colored yarn by a small woman-owned Vermont mill. It is stunning! You’ll love this yarn in your drapey knits such as shawls or scarves. Each twist is 100 grams and approximately 230 yards of 3-ply DK, grown and spun in Vermont.
