This is a hand-felted sheep skin rug or throw using the gorgeous wool from our Valais Blacknose Sheep, “Gatsby” After shearing, we hand washed his fleece and sectioned out the nicest pieces of his wool. The fiber is felted to the back of a piece of merino wool roving. It looks very much like a real sheep skin, but Gatsby is out grazing and growing a new fleece on his new farm in Connecticut as we type!
This item is a white, all natural and un-dyed. It measures about 15 inches wide x 26inches long. Spot clean with mild soap and dry in the sun. Shake it out on occasion to give it its fluff.
