inspired by the mystical Faroese nature with its fog and subdued colours – like a semi-transparent veil, the fog both shrouds and enhances the rugged beauty of the landscape. Karen Sissal loves to create a design that stands out and has its use both in a Faroese location but also , for example, in a vibrating metropolis like Tokyo.
The sample is knit in Faroese wool which supports many of the same properties and characteristics as our Shetland wool. The wool breathes well, and as the Faroese wool has a high level of lanolin, and it is near water resistant.  Which makes the sweater especially well suited as an outer wear. It has many versatile styling options.
