This is a hand-felted sheep skin rug or throw using the gorgeous wool from our Shetland ewe ‘Darlene.’ After shearing, we hand washed her fleece and sectioned out the nicest pieces of her wool. The fiber is felted to the back of a piece of merino wool roving. It looks very much like a real sheep skin, but Della, the loveliest mama ewe, is out grazing and growing a new fleece as we type!
This item is a fine, fawn-coloured fleece, all natural and un-dyed. It measures about 35 inches wide x 35 inches long. Spot clean with mild soap and dry in the sun. Shake it out on occasion to give it its fluff.
